ElectryFly-In

As operational and functional safety specialists, Claudio Panizza, Head of Aviation at ROSAS, and Roland Scherwey, Head of SwissMoves, participated in the fifth edition of ElectriFly-In event at the AIRPORT GRENCHEN.

The event was the meeting place for professionals and friends of electric and hybrid aviation. ROSAS and SwissMoves exhibited among many aeronautical companies such as e-Sling or Mahepa. 

Aviation is currently undergoing major technical changes. Many projects aim to redefine established systems in terms of propulsion, design and aerodynamics. As examples, the first swiss certified electric aircraft from Pipistrel Aircraft, the rs aero project of Elfin or the e-ROP project of AdvanTec. These three were presented at the Electrifly-In and we listened to them with a lot of enthusiasm. The main objectives are to reduce noise and greenhouse gas emissions from the aircraft ensuring safety and reliability. And on the other hand, obviously the energy needs to be sustainable too. We all have the same ecological issues.

It was a pleasure to meet engineers from all around Switzerland and to see their electric and hybrid flying creations.
